Thank you for listening and thinking even though it is so late at night in Chicago. I honestly hope you can still sleep well and read the rest of this comment Saturday afternoon. If you were any other person I would just pass by and forget I knew you. I know the delegation interest is way too high and paying it back is killer that's why I didn't do it. It's not as big a deal to me to be "successful" here. It's really not a fun game any more when the whole world is jumping in. And don't get me wrong in my earlier comment. You are totally free to do what you want. I really want you to be the best @khaleelkazi. There are enough jerks out there and it is deadly competitive. I found two trending tags I could just sit in with just a $20 upvote and then a week later I will get back what I spend, get more exposure and more followers and comments. I did it for two days and actually didn't feel comfortable. Then another guy came in and upvoted post higher and knocked me out. Haha^^ That's the money game here. I'm too old for it and can't deal with stress well but I think it suits you well Khaleel . You can use the system as much as you like but with integrity. I am totally supporting you.
Let's just throw Steemit out of the picture for a minute. I know the kids you went to school with. The pressure is tough there. There are some really good kids at Central and some of them will definitely be the future leaders of America. One of those students who graduated just last year will probably be the President in 30 years. I have a lot of hope for you guys because you will be the leaders of America and that's no joke.
My hope is that you continue to grow as the wonderful guy you really are and this August I meet you for brunch at that Pancake house or some Steak and Eggs.
I'm always here to listen, read and learn from amazingly intellectual and wise people like yourself @mineopoly. I always appreciate your comments and you always have something to teach. Your comments here have made me think a lot about Steemit and what it has evolved into. I agree, the system is full of greed and is mostly based on how much money is made versus the quality of content and the message that people are trying to convey. The sad thing about this system is that the best creators are often pushed out of the way while the people with the most clout on the platform are the ones who can get eyeballs to their posts. These last 2 posts I've made have been the first in a long time that I've actually used a bid bot on. I've seen bid-bots take a very different direction as most people are using them to hunt for more upvotes and hit the trending page. I wanted to see the effect of these bots on my posts and that's why I did 1 video (dtube) post and 1 written post, both upvoted by bots for the same amounts. The results of using the bots have proven to me that its an effective way to get more eyeballs to your posts as well as more upvotes. Though the eyeballs and community have always been my focus, you do make the very valid point that I've veered off that path a little bit with all of these "update" posts. I thought that they were a great source of motivation to others to show these goals and my progress regularly, but I can see that these posts can be similarly regarded to others who make "shitposts" all the time.
I'm going to take more time to reflect, but you've already made me reconsider the content I'm putting out. I've wanted to get back to the more intellectual style of posting and that's what I intend to do over the next several days. My goal has never been and never will be to work without integrity. I will always do what I feel is right and will always re-evaluate when important voices in my life such as yours tell me to reconsider. Long story longer :) I will make an effort to do less of these updates and more of the thought-provoking and conversational posts that I used to focus on. Thank you for that.
Thank you for your compliments and good wishes as well! It's funny that you say that because steak and eggs are my favorite! You will definitely have to let me know when you are in town and I'll take you to this great spot near me called Citrus!
