RE: Steem 0.14.1 Released - Hardfork Postponed until 9/20/2016

It's the community's "fault" for not applying the new voting power algorithm, biased of the comments I saw, the community doesn't understand the current voting system, so understanding the new one is "impossible" and what makes matters worse is the "40 up votes to 5 up votes per day" part what confuses them even more and makes them perceive it as a "bad" change.

Another thing people must understand that we are currently in a beta stage (often overlooked), Steemit isn't a finished product, currently it's a "1/3 baked bread", to get that bread to be good, you have to experiment with the variables and that's what we are doing now.

Those who understand it, like it very much, but the ones who understand are few and the majority voice is stronger. I personally would've loved the new change, being able to pull more weight and contradictory to the popular belief of less votes, I would vote more in the new system and with better "accuracy" on how much I endorse a post.

Until the community doesn't educate themselves, the vote balance will remain unchanged.

I would make a very constructive post about it and explain it, but my voice is only so strong and can reach only a few people, so a post from Daniel, Ned or the steemitblog would be the best approach.
