Where did you all hear about Steem?

Since this is the internet, and there's no shortage of existing social media, where did you guys here about this supposedly amazing system?

Since we're all clearly the early adopter nerd type, we have at least that origin in common. I personally came from the cryptocurrency Subreddit, after seeing about perhaps mining a bit of Etherium to fund an upgrade to the new RX 480. I can't imagine that's the only place to have people advocating for Steem, so what's your deal everyone? Any co-workers? Someone shouting from a rooftop? Share your stories if you like.
