@berniesanders and @jerrybanfield can I have both of your opinions on how this helps the little guys with maybe only a couple of Steem to invest ? Surely this model is reliant on constant and increasing investments to maintain the promised payouts and thus becomes unsustainable aka ponzi ? Why is this just another way for those with the most to increase their profits exponetially meaning that as always, the rich become richer and the more lowly amongst us continue walking through glue.
Please put some numbers to it for the not so bright like me, please. You talk about 1000Steem but that's a king's ransom to Philipino student, so let's say someone has 2 Steem to invest and buys 2 JBCs....how much a month in Steem will they see in their account if they write one post a day ? KISS ;-)
PS are you intending that one day, JBCs become a tradable currency ? Which would would add another unknown factor into proceedings..
PPS Not everyone has an IQ of Einstein so there any way this could all be made more simple please? There is a correlation between wealth and IQ and just because not everyone can understand complex principles shouldn't mean they miss out.
PPPS Im torn between wanting people to make money to improve their lives by any means necessary and wanting growth to be achieved organically and by engagement and eyes on and comments....there has to be a middle ground somewhere.
It doesn't. It sure helps Jerry a lot though.
No, he's not doing anything except collectivizing self-voting. Imagine ten users get together and each of them can post once per day. If they put all of their SP in the same account, that account can upvote all their posts and use all its voting power to do so.
That's essentially all Jerry's doing on a larger scale, except that if the ten users set up their own account to do it they would have account ownership and get that account's SP growth, curation rewards, and witness vote. In Jerry's system he gets all of that. He also gets ownership of the SP; I don't know if people are going to have the right to withdraw or not, there's too much doublespeak here.
@jerrybanfield
I see that you are always very optimistic about steemit...I am unfortunately not so optimistic. Steemit has a big problem, the bad distribution of wealth (few have much and many have little). we have equated steemit with the distribution of wealth in the real world.
Recently the account number 1 million was created...but only 60,000 are really active...How is it understood that a platform as spectacular as Steemit only 6% is active? and of those 60,000 How many share quality content? ... How many people make projects for the growth of the platform? and even worse, the most powerful only limit themselves to the nothing ethical sale of votes
if we want steemit to grow we have to solve that bad distribution. we must finish with that sale because it generates an even worse distribution
and if the powerful do not want to give the purpose for which they created the platform that is to share quality publications and create projects for their growth that they begin to delegate their SP to different communities and within them to those that work correctly without abusing the blockchain and so the wealth will be distributed better and more people will be able to reward quality. Otherwise people will continue to leave steemit for not seeing future.
If this continues, the future of steemit is very doubtful and the value of the currency will decrease due to lack of confidence. and the powerful will continue to have all their millions but they will be millions of nothing
@matuca: "if the powerful do not want to give the purpose for which they created the platform that is to share quality publications and create projects for their growth that they begin to delegate their SP to different communities and within them to those that work correctly without abusing the blockchain and so the wealth will be distributed better and more people will be able to reward quality."
Great!
Before you read, I'm giving away $80 here:
I'm attempting to create a protocol through which I both gain followers as well as help out followers who care enough to pay attention and read / watch / listen to my content. The whole process is going to be completely open and transparent. I want to earn money doing what I love. But I also want to make it so that it is easy for other people to do what they love so long as their content is at least pretty good.
This is my first video in a long series of videos where I will detail out my plan as well as give away a bunch of cash for people that are paying attention. If you are frustrated by what appears to be essentially a collective self voting bot where you don't really benefit, please check out my idea. If you think it's garbage, REPLY IN MY FEEDBACK VIDEO WITH YOUR CRITICAL FEEDBACK, we'll have everyone rank the ideas, and I'll respond and fix the idea to address the feedback.
One of the key problems with content nowadays is the 1-directionality. It just doesn't work. We almost are coming to a place of collective discussion, but with scams like JBC, that's never going to happen.
I apologize in advance for spamming this, but I'm so sick of huge content creators alleging to help the little guys while the platform still suffers. I don't think a coin is going to help anyone.
I think we need to develop new open source protocols that we can share and build upon together. Please head over to any of my channels and listen to these ideas. I think they're good enough that I'll literally pay you to listen.
Thanks in advance,
Michael

No offense, I'm interested in any new methodology for doing those things but I'm not going to spend a half an hour listing to you talk about it. Feel free to poke me when you have a text description.
Actually, were you talking about the methodology in general or how to win the cash?
And if the video was, say, 3 minutes or less to describe the methodology, would you listen?
The methodology, I don't really care about the cash.
I might watch a shorter video, but if I'm going to analyze it I'd really prefer text.
Great! Thanks. I'll make both. Will ping you once that's done.
Sure will! Coming shortly.
Don't believe everything you read.
The chance TO believe or not would be nice, I can't get my head around all this and can't decide whether that is deliberate just so people use their trust in Jerry's name to send him their hard earned Steem! Too confusing!! Good thing I'm not a cynic!
Anyway, I'm being rude. Good morning @Whatsup and thank you :-)
#befuddled
I don't understand what he is saying either. I also wonder if he understands it.
He is saying that if you give him a chicken, he will breed that chicken to lay 100 eggs and those 100 eggs will hatch into 100 chickens, they will lay 10,000 eggs, they will hatch into 10,000 chicken and they in turn will lay 100,000,000 and he will make a omelette of all those eggs and feed the entire steem community.
lol
Finally a guy with sense of humor. Whats wrong with people.
I am a girl but yeah, it was tough to choose between up voting this comment or the quote of chickens crawling the whole earth. My best giggles of the day. Thanks.
This analogy holds no water in this case. Everything screams ponzi!!
It is a ponzi. Chicken doesn't lay 100 eggs.
I am going to agree with you on Bitcoin but not Jerry. I think Jerry has good intent.
No. Just, because BTC is an asset people can speculate on doesn´t mean it´s a ponzi.
Hahaha :) I Great...
More likely is that all of the chicks will either get coccidiosis or get eaten by a rat.
but Im a vegan, how will that help me ?
but in all seriousness, your analogy fails as there is only a finite number of Steem....hence the my use of the word Ponzi
That's why he will have to make an omelette before only chickens are crawling the whole earth.
do you mean i have to go first to " https://jerry.tips/jbcwelcome" then Welcome to Jerry Banfield Coin?
Have you ever seen an evangelical preacher? This is a weak version of one.
Like what exactly?
Could I get you to take a look at and critique my post about how steemhost.com (a site we are rolling out this week)
