The bad news is time flies. The good news is you're the pilot.
Time has flown and I have completed my 100 days in steem blockchain. It feels just like yesterday I got to know about steem and joined it. But it has become my complete 100 days on steem. I came to a lot of milestone posts of others so decided to come with one with my complete summary of journey in steem blockchain, sharing what I have learned in this period and some tips from my experinces to the new users.

Discovering Steemit
Well as many of you may have found out about steem through your friends or colleages or family but I found steemit in a search result and decided to give it a try after some tutorials and a short online research. As a blogger, i was always looking for a profitable platform for blogging (well initially I was fascinated by the income on steem but now I know steem is much more than earning) and now I could tell steemt would be the greatest discovery of me for blogging and other activities as well.
My journey till date
I have been blogging for more than last three years and I have continued blogging in steemit as well. Since the day I have joined Steem not a day has passed by without me checking out steemit for few or long hours. I have been really obssesed with steem blockchain and I love it more than my 3 years of blogging career. And I am sharing all the ups and downs and also my learnings from this journey
I have been writing different posts related to my experience on blogging, life experiences, fictions, funny articles, and articles related to improve one's blogging career and had actively participated in many contests in the beginning of my steem journey. Later I got to know about @dmania which rewards users for sharing meme. Unfortuantely I couldn't catch any big upvotes from from it so I changed my interest to something else. I have used @decentmemes on its initial days of launching and have received some small upvotes from its owners. I have also tried @dtube for some contest by @anomadsoul.
Currently I have been using @busy.org for all of my posting activities. Not only I am in love with its layout I love it because I get occasional upvotes by posting through busy and using the tag busy. See other reasons why I love Busy.Org here
Features That Will Make You Fall In Love With Busy.Org : Why I Love Busy.Org
I have recently learned about making a contribution to open source projects and getting rewards in utopian. I have been actively participating in the suggestion contribiutions to many projects. You don't have to be a programmer or coding geek to make a contribution, you can get rewards just by posting some feature request or suggestions or reporting a bug in @utopian-io.
Amazing Adjustments
I may not have done great in terms of SP or SBDs but I think steem has improved a lot of aspects in my life. I am a high school aspirant looking forwards to my entrance test in few months and Steem has made me mature than ever. The time I would have been wasting in other social medias, i am investing it on steem for good. Not being from native english speaking country, writing in steem has improved my english in a noticable way.
Cryptocurrency must be the greatest thing I would have learnt about recently and that's just because of steemit. While other friends of mine are wasting their valuable time I am here making some earnings. (I really hope Steem and SBDs will rise back to the moon)
I spend long hours reading the worthy articles in steemit. It has made me more mature. And I am thankful to all the amazing people I have met on steem.
Words of Gratitude
My steem journey had only been interesting due to helps I have received in steemit. I would love to take this opportunity to thank all of them in this posts. I am thankful to all my followers, upvoters and commenters in my blog. Without them it wouldn't have been possible. Besides i am thank ful to some mentors who have helped in whenever I asked them to.
I want to extend my thanks to @surpassinggoogle sir who have always managed some time to respond to my queries in discord and help me thorugh any hard situations. I want to thank my friends @virus95 and @iamsudipbh to join steem on my request and sharing amazing contents. I am thankful to @fabien and @ekitcho for an awesome platform busy and their silent curating helps on my busy related posts. @rexusmo's contests have helped me grow from the beginning of my steem journey and @anomadsoul thank your contest that helped me grow in the beginning days of steem.
Apart from these awesome people there are some projects I have been following and getting a lot of helps in the forms of upvotes and I am mentioning them here so that you can join and get benefitted from them.
1. @minnowsuppport
I am thankful to weekly curating contests by @minnowsupport where you earn 5 steem and a resteem if you are choosen among the best posts submitted in the contest.
2. @qurator
@qurator upvotes a post from your blog daily as per the tier you are on. You just have to pay an intitial fee of 4 steem and you'll be in 0 tier and will receive upvotes from them. You can upgrade to higher tier and resulting in higher upvotes by delegating your SP or upvoting their post.
3. @busy.org
You can catch upvotes from busy bot if youu post from busy and use busy as one of ypur tags.
Besides here are some tips to the newbies based on my experinece that I hope will help them grow.
Steem is Much More Than Steemit
Steemit is a site based on steem blockchain and there are other few platforms that are based on it as well. You can use steemit for blogging, sharing pictures, videos and many other things but wait there are many other steem based sites which makes your experience of using steem fun and at the same time can be profitable in terms of earnings. I have tried to compile some of the sites in this post here.
1. @busy.org
Busy.Org is similar to steemit which has a better layout and some really cool and awesome features in addition to steemit features. Besides if you post through Busy.org and put one of your tags as busy then you can even grab a busy.org bot upvote in your post.
See this posts about features of busy.org and why I fell in love with Busy.
Features That Will Make You Fall In Love With Busy.Org : Why I Love Busy.Org
2. @dtube
Dtube is similar to Youtube based on steem blockchain. With dtube you can enjoy censorship free and ad free videos. And I have seen many of the steem users living on dtube earnings. So if you are a video content creator then dtube would be the best choice for you.
3. @dlive
You may have seen the live feature in facebook and youtube. To use live feature in steem, we have dlive which is similar to @dtube but where you can share and watch real time events. If you are a gamer or want to share a live singing or other activities then dlive would be the best choice for you.
4. @dmania
Do you know that there is a site similar to 9gag where you can earn SBDs and steem to share memes? Well dmania is a steem based platform where you can catch large whale upvotes just by sharing your memes or the memes you find funny.
5. @utopian-io
Do you want to contribute to a open source project and at the same time generate some income? Then utopian.io is there for you. The open source contribution doesn't refer just to programming and coding contributions only rather you can contribute a suggestion on improving a specific open source project. Or you can report a bug, contribute graphics for the project.
Besides the site has a very easy templates to make a post on contributions. The posts are formatted in such a way that you can write a contribution going through the instructions once.
6. @steepshot
Are you a photo freak or want to share a lot of pictures in steem? Do you know that there is an instagram like app built on steem blockchain? Yes Steepshot is similar to instagram where likes would generate earnings to you. You can use steepshot in web or in mobile app available both for android and ios.
7. @zappl
Zappl is similar to Twitter where you can share microblog posts called zaps. The appropriate zaps are upvoted by the zappl curators as well. So you can share small pieces like motivation quotes, a video or pictures through zappl similar to twitter to catch upvotes.
8. @steemgigs
When you imagine Steemgigs, imagine freelancing sites like fiverr based on steem. You can share small tasks call and price and get steem earnings for the tag. Again you don't have to be a professional to create a gig, you can create a gig as simple as wearing a tshirt of that users name for a week for 5 SBDs or similar like that.
9. @esteem
Esteem is a mobile app created by @good-karma for steem which you can use to create and curate contents and have all the features and more additional features than steemit. Moreover you can grab some upvotes if you start posting from the @esteem mobile app.
Well i think every one doesn't have to be a blogger in steemit. Steemit is an internet in itself meaning steem has variety of sites to almost all users. If you are a video content creator you have @dtube and @dlive, if you want to share memes you have @dmania and @decentmemes, for programming and other open source contributions you have @utopian-io and for blogging we have @busy.org and @steemit, for freelancing we have @steemgigs so try all these sites just once to find out which works better for you and take your journey forward in steemit.
