I like these type of posts as they get the conversation going and experiences are shared on the potential of Steem and what it can do for many aspects: fiat devaluations, asset seizures, and basic income which brings a large population around the world closer to services they need in a protocol open to all. However, given that technology is still maturing and developing there is a lot of competition of various projects trying to handle these concerns as well. Like the Internet before, it will be a survival of the fitness and winners and losers will be clear soon as this market disengages users, developers and investors. I have high hopes for Steem given its flexibility and scalability and believe that the future deployment of SMTs could help expand the ecosystem to be more inclusive and improve distribution which could attract more users.
