We are used to leaning on others, looking to others to guide and help us, and without this support we feel confused, afraid, we do not know what to think, how to act. The moment we are left to ourselves, we feel lonely, insecure, uncertain. From this arises fear, does it not?
Well I suppose it is a bit of a double edged sword... what circumstance breeds (be it fear or courage) is entirely dependant on you as an individual. In this instance i would say "hesitance" is a great player... and having an open support line is of great value.
