You're right, even when steem value went down to $1 recently, people complained and stopped posting. But I just say do it every day, regardless of what's going on.
If you truly believe in and care about the platform, just try to provide value no matter what and keep on going.
Worst case scenario, you just work on your skills and get better at writing, like you said. The strong ones will survive!
