Well, I've got to be honest, I have kept away from the Crypto market capacity overview for a while. And for this post I still let it be where it is. Seems it is full down in the red again? So there is a bloody SALE going on then? Or I could state that it is just me getting some holiday cash in. Maybe that is part of it though, those Dubai vacations do not pay for themselves you know. And ever thought about what it costs to sponsor a formula 1 racing team? Talking about high speed, Steem is still killing all the competition, without breaking even as much as a drop of sweat. Yes, close to another milestone, 2 million transactions on average per day. Bitcoin manages only 10 percent of that!
Talking about Bitcoin, it seems somebody struck gold with one of the forking blockchain split clones. And I find it difficult to understand how that Buttcoin Cash {BCH} one still manages to get any value at all. It stinks, but it is a looting one too, so it is a rotten as it seems. Not to mention that disturbed man who people thought to be Natoshi Sakamoto. And I already told you, he lives just a few blocks from where I live. Never cashed in, still running a petshop and a restaurant. Never mind that, it is unimportant. The Steem blockchain has all the proof of scalibility one would need. And developement is going forward in a healthy pace.
Looking at the numbers and figures of blocktivity dot info I would state that things will pick up for a good few. Dogecoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin, Bitshares and of course Steem. Where the dumping of Buttcoin Cash seems to be next up. It is almost like it is getting manipulated, but that is not that hard if you rip about 15% of value out off the one and only true Bitcoin {BTC} blokchain. But recently we could witness how this can actually backfire and my guess is that BTG might be thrown out on the streets for grabs.
From my point of view I do expect that more forks of Bitcoin will start to fade out this year. Especially the ones that forked off as a blockchain splitter clone. This will free a lot of investors capital that wants to flow somewhere else in the Cryptos realm. Some I do expect to go into EOS, as that one is going live on the third of june 2018. If it does what it promised than I expect there is going to be a big surprise on the Cryptos market. And even though some investments will flow into Bitcoin {BTC} again, EOS could dethrone it. (Did anybody else already dare to claim this?)
Steem top 10?
Well, if EOS does well and Steem manages to get the Smart Media Tokens {SMT} out in the third quarter of this year than that might push Steem into the top 10. It already has proven that it can handle a lot of transactions in a day for a long period of time and that it can scale. Also developement moves forward in a sense that not all of the data needs to be in RAM all the time. Still keeping things on high speed. It looks like the blockchain technology, that is the motor for Bitshares, Steem, EOS and others really will gain more attention. And this would attract investors, I think. To me the future is still looking good for Steem. Hopefully though futures will not ruin things for Steem like they seemed to have done for Bitcoin. But hey, I'd rather have the real deal in my wallet...
Anyway, things in the red again in the Cryptos realm will bring out the rats that want to trash it. Every time claiming it is a bubble, a Tulip or whatever. To me it is the same old same old, it is getting beyond boring. And I can understand that it is hard to grasp that bankers money is going to drop its value more and more, faster and faster. Next bank to fall over? Who is going to pay for that? Well, I am glad I got some Cryptos stashed away for the moment that happens. Hopefully people have woken up by then and forbid any more bailouts. If they made a mess, let them fall over. It is the same for us, is it not? Bit ironic saving the capitalist bankers through taxation, yeah right, as if we are that stupid to fall for that one again.
Remember though to only invest in Cryptos what you are willing and able to lose. My bet is still fully on it even though currently I do not even want to know what value is left in my portfolio... Have a great one anyway!

Graag gedaan. Steem staat eigenlijk al heel lang op 1, doet het moeiteloos. Hoogste aantal transacties ooit 2,5 miljoen ruim zelfs.
Wat dat betreft is Steem nog steeds zwaar ondergewaardeerd.
