My Birthday
It was my Birthday yesterday and I've already got everything I could wish for. (I've always been lucky, I think it's all the 7's in my birth date.) We had a picnic in London Fields as usual and there was a slightly disturbed, but quite peaceful man having a beer on his own. He came over and asked if he could have some food. Some of my guests were a bit put off by him, but I felt sorry for him. We'd bought a bit too much food anyway (and a few people couldn't make it) so we would have wasted some of it. I really don't like wasting food, so I prepared a lunch with some sandwiches & a packet of crisps and took it over to him. I told him it was my Birthday and this was my Birthday gift to him. The smile on his face was worth it ! he came over later and said Thank You 3 times, when he left.. which was nice.
The Cake
When we were leaving, there was a quarter of a big chocolate cake left. We had thrown the box away. I didn't know what to do with it. We couldn't carry it home. We had too much to carry.. I took it over to a group of people nearby with some plastic forks we hadn't used. I explained It was my Birthday cake and would they like to have it? They all said YES & Happy Birthday in unison.. I was quite relieved because if they had said no I would have felt a bit silly.. As I walked away one said that's awesome. I smiled quietly to myself. I've had quite a year. I got really sick with a virus towards the end of last year and had to change my diet, my thinking and my activity. My wife was pregnant with our second Daughter Phoebe, who was born 8 weeks ago. She got sick after 2 weeks of being born and we had an agonising week in hospital where the amazing doctors and nurses nurtured her through it 24/7 until she was well again.. She is now thriving and such a joyful little infant. (My wife has been a star throughout as have the Grandparents who all came to help out, looking after all of us in our hour(s) of need.) I told you I was lucky. Our other Daughter Zoe is now walking and talking and is a really strong little character, funny and very loving, even towards her new baby sister.. and the simple joy of watching their daily development is like having a Birthday everyday. As I said, it's been quite a year.
The Crypto Curve
Last year I also got quite deeply interested in crypto and more so when I was sick in bed with my laptop. I'd been watching the price of bitcoin since 2013 and following developments but hadn't really got too involved. I'm now actively working on BlockChain visualisation for a new and very exciting crypto project.. (TBA) and I've also put my business mentoring skills to crypto-project analysis, quite effectively ! As I said, I'm quite lucky, (and practicing being lucky really helps ;)
The Great Birthday Giveaway

I am not sure if I deserve it because the only thing I want to do with that much stream is to break it up and pass it along to 1-5 other deserving people, courtesy of a gift that keeps on giving. When you are helped or are fortunate, the most rewarding thing is to pass that on and they pass it on and pretty soon - everyone will feel like they have a decorated heart of love.
