Listen, intrinsically is nothing bad about it. It is Ned´s money and he has all the right to do it.
BUT.
If you are the CEO of Steemit and you know this information is public for the community, if I were you I would publish a very short and quick post about the subject.
That could be: " Hey guys let me tell you I am powering down because I need the money to invest in this ..or doing that…."
But basically, not saying nothing, even in the questions made by the community in your last post….is rare and it is a concern for all the community.
Does politics and management mean something?
Because this kind of actions or lack of actions are not good for the community, Steemit and lastly also you as the CEO.
@Ned it would be grateful if you could tell us what is the plan?
