Manchester United confirms that it has agreed to terminate Zlatan Ibrahimović's contract with immediate effect - we read in a statement issued by the Old Trafford club.

Zlatan Ibrahimović also posted a short statement in social media: - Wonderful things are coming to an end and time to go on after two fantastic seasons in Manchester United. Thanks to the club, for fans, for the team, for the trainer, for the training staff and for everyone who shared this part of my history with me.
English media speculate that Ibrahimović will sign a contract with Los Angeles Galaxy in the coming days.
