Why don't we try to get STEEM listed on Binance Exchange through the community-coin vote? As a community we should have more than enough people to win the voting process, and open up STEEM to Asian markets - Influential people please take notice!

We all love STEEM and would love to see it do well, but right now it is only really available on Bittrex and Poloniex while a lot of the world trades on more local exchanges. Asians in particular prefer trading on Asian exchanges, for example. Binance is an upcoming and reputable exchange in Hong Kong which allows the community to vote for popular coins to be added to their platform. As a community we could come together and all cast our votes in order to make sure STEEM gets listed!

Binance Exchange is great! They are based in Hong Kong but service a global market and many crypto enthusiasts are moving there because of the super low fees and the fact it has many popular cryptocurrencies that are in high demand. Once every while Binance organizes a community voting process where it lets it's users vote on which cryptocurrency to add next to the exchange. Recently this led to the addition of OMG, BQX, STRAT and more to the platform.

I believe Steemit has a much larger community, and we should have no problem dominating the voting process and getting STEEM added to Binance.

Not only do we all benefit from lower fees, but it will for the first time open up STEEM to the Asian markets. And we all know Asians love crypto! This would be both good for increased trade volume (which should drive the price up), but may even be a great marketing move for the Steemit platform as well because it will make new people come in contact with STEEM and Steemit. Surely they will be interested in knowing what this newly added token is!

I am only a small minnow here with little power, but I am hoping some of the more influential people will get wind of this and take this idea and run with it! Please, if you know anybody with some say, point them in the direction of this post so we may get their attention and hopefully help in organizing this! (I'm looking at you @jerrybanfield ! ;)

Upvoting, resteeming obviously helps too to get their attention, but it would be best if anybody is able to contact them personally to let them know of this idea. So again, if anybody has a line to anybody influential, please do alert them. I truly believe getting listed on Binance would be a very good thing for STEEM and Steemit.

I don't know exactly how to get STEEM listed as one of the voting options for the next community coin vote (and don't know when this will be anywayk, but I imagine they still happen), but this would be something an influential person would have to discuss with Binance. Once we get included in the voting process, all that is required is that we Steemians make an account and cast our vote when the time comes.

Please consider Upvoting, Resteeming or Following if you liked this content! I write frequently about crypto-related things, so consider following me if you are interested in that sort of thing! Thank you!

Good idea. Might be worth trying to get the Chinese community involved in that effort.

Definitely, that's the goal! Binance is Hong Kong which is sort of China but not really China (complicated!), but as I understand it there are plenty of Chinese trading on Binance. Generally though, every exposure in Asia is good!

It's actually more in @ned's hands than in China's hands LOL There is a very simple way to have a coin nominated for the voting process and basically @ned just has to send some info to Binance and that's it! I really, really, reeeeaaaaally hope he does! Because Steem would get back up to at least $2 again, easy (: Binance is a very influential and international exchange, they now have like 6 languages offered on the exchange!

Wonderful idea! To take action, we do need to know exactly what to do to get listed!

I'm so glad you think this is a great idea!

I found this link which describes how to get listed as a voting option for the last time they had this community voting effort. That one was last month. It says that one of the core developers needs to get in contact with them.

I think, based on the date of that voting contest, and the fact they call it a monthly contest, maybe another one is upcoming in the next few weeks hopefully?

I really hope we can make this work!!
(using busy.org temporarily, sorry for formatting errors)

Additionally, once we are nominated, I imagine somebody like you needs to run a campaign every few days to remind everybody to go vote, as long as the voting process takes.

can also look at listing on kucoin

anything that grows steem is great. I resteemed it

Would also love to see Steem on Binance. What do we need to do ?

I think @jerrybanfield sent them an e-mail already with a question, but basically a core developer needs to contact them about it and then it can be added, next time they have a vote! If you know any core developers, please do point them in the direction of this post! :)

Steem is aready list on Binance. A lot of traders also buy Steem at Binance or Bittrex Safe exchanges better than Poloniex. Good luck!

I know! But at the time of posting, four months ago, STEEM wasn't listed yet and no plans to do so existed ;)

Congrats Steem! I heard that you already been listed on Binance. There is also on going Coin Voting Campaign from BCNEX, if you are interested to join: https://www.bcnex.net/voting. I am rooting for TOMOCHAIN (TOMO)! :)
