It's open to new members, that don't call Steem a circle jerk, lolz. Post something unique (I've already used "circle jerk" so this post doesn't count) and well thought out ("circle jerk" doesn't take a lot of thought and is best used when quoting others) that will inspire others to click the upvote button (and not put you on their shitlist ... right behind me). ;)

I think it's open to all kinds of content. People just need to be brave, and not discouraged if some of their posts don't get upvoted right away. Post 5 things on any topics you like, most likely some of them will be upvoted. There's no loss to posting several things, let the things that sink be, and be happy if something floats :)
