8. Steem Price Update
Thanks a lot! Very interesting data. Afer some time it will be possible to derive conclusions for the exchange rate for steem from your data.
In additon, I have a question:
It seems to me that some steem can vanish as I watched the published money supply on coinmarkttcap.com. There were very higher numbers in the past than today. I know this because I watched snapshots I had made some time ago. Can you confirm this observation?
Good observation. I don't know where the supply that is listed on coinmarketcap.com is coming from, but it is incorrect. You can find the correct current supply on https://steemd.com. The current supply is about 15M higher than the number on coinmarketcap.com
Does this mean that more Steem will be able to be traded and price will go down again?
You never know which way the price will go. If more people buy it goes up, if more people sell it goes down.
Of all available Steem only 68,126,712 is liquid. Only the liquid Steem is available to be traded on the exchanges.
Steem's price must be between 0.7 -0.9. I
It is good. But for short period.
I am new to steem, is there a cap to the number of steem that is produced? How does this thing work?
The current inflation rate is about 9.5% per year, but decreases over time.
