With the announcement from Steemit we could probably suspect that some of this was from them getting funds for operational costs. Hopefully after their adjustments, selling pressure can be reduced. However, I will not be surprised that some stakers sell given the announcement.

The market saw a small drop shortly after the announcement, but recovered quickly. Steem is up +10% relative to BTC since then :-)This was the moment @Ned posted his announcement to lay off 70% of the staff.
True... but that correlated with the increase in bitcoin which still dominates the market direction. We could eventually see some impact as others may have started power downs as well. Mostly speculation on my part but watching carefully.

It's growing!
Looks like people holding on exchanges has gone up, if they intend to sell at the first rise in price, it could suppress the steem price and keep it low for a while.
I wonder how many people are buying this supply and bringing back to steem to stake.
We need more steem. In the hands of people who will stake it and use it.
Less liquid steem, means less supply, means higher prices.
we just need someone to buy 83 million steem lol, the only plus of price hitting 10 cents would be we could buy so much for cheap and make it more rare.
I personally like Binance <3
I'm curious about the fact why netcoins doesn't appear here...
Netcoins is no real exchange
The quantity of Steem in the exchanges is inverse proportional at the value. This shows one thing... Everybody runs to sell when we are in the bear market, and that is sad.
For the price of Steem it would be good to be more steem on exchanges.
