I think local promotion will really help to grow steemit.
I've set to it recently here in Wales. We only have 15 active steemians so I've set myself the goal of doubling that in 3 months - going for 100% growth!

I didn't know you were so active in promotion @pennsif. That's a top effort!
Local promotion is really where it all started for me. I ran one of the first local online community networks in Britain many years ago. Reached 300K users at its peak before Facebook etc came along and I moved on to other projects. Steemit I feel has the potential for a bit of a homecoming for me.
What great advocacy skills you have. Perhaps in the future I'll be able to lean on you for advice & ideas 😊
