RE: STEEM And The Internet Of Money: Why EVERYONE Will End Up With More Money Than They Can Spend

in #steem7 years ago

There was a person on my FB page who was trying to sell me (aggressively and incoherently) on crypto currency. I didn't understand a bit of what he was saying. You, however, make a lot of sense. I joined steemit because FB is boring and suffocating, this platform seems to be a better place to actually learn and interact, and I'm stuck in a situation where I need to earn an income. If I only earn a dime equivalent of cryptocurrency, it's more than I can make in dollars in my circumstance. Plus, I cannot wait for the evolution you mention to come to fruition! People in America are not slaves to money. They are slaves to the dollar. That's because the dollar has been positioned in such a way that it's the only currency people have had access to, until now. Technically not monopoly, but in practice for many people it equates to that in their personal lives. Anyway, thanks for the thought provoking post
