I've just claimed my first rewards in here which i got for just posting or commenting in here. I do see this as a first little step in here, i'm still working on understanding the technical principles and exploring the Steem API. I'm currently planning to prototype some little tools to work against the Steem API for research purposes. I'll let you know what i'm coming up with, maybe it will be something that can be reused.

Here are some pretty good APIs ready to use for your favorite project:
JavaScript: https://github.com/steemit/steem-js
Python: http://steem.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
Or just use the JSON API directly like described here:
https://steemit.com/steem/@klye/an-introduction-to-steemd-api-calls-functions-and-usage
If you got an idea for a use-case, let's talk :)
I think i‘ll go with the JSON API purely as a starter with some basic things like gathering and pushing data.
If i‘m comfortable with using the API and the platform itself, use cases will show up. Will stay in touch reg. use cases. ;)
Thanks for the JSON API link.
