Hollywood's pirated movie is being shared with millions of users in millions of users. The world's largest social media has been accused of not automatically able to prevent copyright infringement of software.
The business insider's US publication Business Insider's report says groups such as Ant Man and A Quiet Place are being filled in catalogs of recent blockbuster movies. And the group authorities are not even trying to hide them.
According to the report published on Sunday, "These groups are still in spite of having a content of Facebook content moderators and automatic software to identify content that violates some of the few years old, copyright infringement of these groups."
In the 'Full HD English Movie' group, there are 1,34,000 people and there are 1,71,000 members in a group called 'Free Full Movies', 2012, IANS reported.
The US site's report has released a quote from a Facebook spokesman. He said, "It is not the responsibility of the company to remove such content unless it is the owner of the content."
As part of the fight against pirated content spread, Facebook bought the US startup 'Sources3' in 2017. To help users remove pirated videos or other content shared without permission, the Soft Giant is buying Source3.
According to the latest Transparency Report of Facebook, in the second half of 2017, the company has removed 28 million content based on a copyright complaint of approximately 370,000 users.
