If I’m not mistaken, in the early days of Steemit, the powerdown time was set at two years. 13 weeks is but the blink of an eye. 😏
a company for outside investors who do not have the time to do things themselves and would want a custodian to take care of their Steem and either put them to good use or lock them up for interest.
Sounds a lot like a fractional reserve banking system.
