RE: Consistent Selling Pressure Keeping Steem Price Down.

in #steem5 years ago

One big issue affecting steem right now is the fact that the rumor about buyover by Justin Sun has not been debunked by any high ranking steem creator. Alot of people see this as a risk to invest in steem right now.

If this rumour is not true, what is stoping @ned and co from coming out and debunking it? Good to see u again @whatsup. Glad to know you are still holding on.

Sort:

Everytime someone says our name it is good for us.

I don't think people are afraid of tron.

@ned doesn't say anything and Eli said they can't confirm or deny

well you cant deny the fact that Justin has a image issue in the whole crypto market and not necessarily tron.

The whole essence of decentralization of the media which Steem stands for may be jeopardized by some individual buying it.

Can someone really buy up bitcoin network? NO!! So if someone can buy up steem, it leaves a lot to be desired IMO. @whatsup, I think someone like @ned can make comment on this to clear the air.

This issue and the fact that steem is yet to be supported by any hardware wallet are issues right now that needs to be resolved as the bull market approaches.

What is he going to buy?
Ned doesn't own the blockchain, it is open source.
JS could buy a bunch of steem and start selfvoting, but we just fork to a chain without him.

Steem is in the wild now, good luck herding cats.

People dislike Bill Gates, but he is successful.
People bitch out Tron, but they are 15th on the cmc.

No one complains about Ned, no one knows Ned's name.

If you are successful, you will have a group of haters.

Why would we distance ourselves from someone who gets bitched about, but who is more successful than we are?

Well that is a different view point.

@whatsup finally the wait is over. @ned sells steemit to tron's just sun. Steemit seems to be destined to die.
