As the title suggests, today in this post, I am going to discuss that why you should always post original content on SteemIT.
First of all, let's discuss about the disadvantages of not posting legal content on SteemIT.
We all know that there is a bot named @Cheetah. What does this bot do? This bot is very intelligent. All of the new users have to pass through their Cheetah phase. The Cheetah bot is basically a plagiarism checking bot. It checks posts of all the new users of SteemIT for plagiarism. If it founds plagiarism, then it upvotes the post and comment down a link to the place where that post is originally posted.
Most of the people on SteemIT don't worry about the Cheetah bot. But, you should. Why? Because this Cheetah bot can put you in its blacklist. Once you get in blacklist, a large number of Cheetah bots will start downvoting you and you will lose your precious Steem.
It can also put you in whitelist. Whitelist is the positive side of Cheetah bot. It is a real time saver. Once you get in whitelist, the Cheetah bot will stop checking your posts for plagiarism. This doesn't mean that you start plagiarism.
I hope that all of your confusions are cleared regarding the Cheetah bot. If you enjoyed this post, then upvote it and don't forget to leave a reply on this post. Also don't forget to ReSteem this post.
Thanks For Reading!

Stop spamming posts with your own content.
This isn’t entirely accurate. There aren’t lots of cheetah bots. Just one. And if you get on the black list, it will flag all of your plagiarised posts and add you to it’s database that it publishes weekly to report on frequent abusers.
Cheetah also doesn’t only target new users. It targets everyone. So even if I plagiarise a post, it will identify my post.
And as far as I am aware there is no white list. Cheetah scans everyone’s posts equally.
Welcome to Steemit mate. Perhaps learn a little bit more about the platform before going too hard with posts about Steemit.
Also check out @tubcat. He posts lots of useful info about creating original content. And is kind of like a human version of the cheetah bot.
that is what I posted. Once you get in blacklist, a lot of cheetah bots will come to destroy your posts.
There’s only one cheetah bot. Not lots.
There are many Cheetah bots.
