Coinbase custody is digital assets custody for institutional investors.. Worth mentioning just for storage NOT trading. But that does not mean these coins are not considered for trading in the future. The fact that they are considered for storage also speaks for their possible future trading..
Looks to me like they have added the coins in the order they will add them..Lot's of quality coins all the way down to row 3..where it stars to get weird.
Anyhow, great news for Steem!

Good news, regardless if Steem is not offered for purchase. Some institutions will only want exposure to digital assets that have custody solutions. I would also argue coinbase would eventually offer trading on assets that they provide custody for.
LOL but they are also considering DOGE coin...
Yeah,..and Polkadot? Do they know something? :D Not even on CMC
What is important is usage by the general population. Doge is used far more than many other coins. It may not be the best tech but that never counts for much in the real world. Think Microsoft, VHS, Edison, etc.
they say just for storage and not for trading purposes....but it still is good news
It will help people to buy Steem easily.
I'll take every bit of good news at this point
Great news! Glad steem is in there! I’m sure trading will be there one day upvoted!
That's good that they are offering this to people. Even if it's not for trading, it's good that they are offering these currencies as a secure way to store large amounts of coins in a very secure way. I locked up some bitcoin as soon as I heard about how they had a vault for security. Once I had taken some out, and it was a process. Multiple emails, and confirmations that I was ME. That's how secure it is. Security is sacred in this space, and weather or not they want to trade steem, they offer a safe haven for your coins.
Dam it , I see the steemvoter didnt work again! Ill go investigate that again! nice find sir, resteemed!
