RE: Why You'd Be Much Happier if You Viewed Steemit as a Lottery

in #steem8 years ago

Hmmm. Well, it's certainly "fairer" than Facebook, where users do all the work and Mark Z gets all the money. In fact, it's "fairer" than about any other social media site out there at the moment. I suppose it's possible that someone will create a "fairer" site where awards are more evenly distributed among users, but...would that really attract more people? I'm not so sure. Personally, I'd prefer to make nothing on most posts and a couple hundred bucks on some rather than a few pennies on every post. But maybe that's just me.

Hey Sean I see you have 68,000 steem power and you are one of the original testing people. What's your point that you like your free ride why would you like to give it up? I really wish people could be real.

I was not one of the original testing people. I joined Steemit more than a month after it launched. My ride has not been "free". Look at my wallet history. I PURCHASED most of my Steem.

My bad Sean if you purchased most of your steem than I guess you are entitled to your opinion of if you like the way it is or not. I am not going to voice my opinion anymore about this subject because it is so obvious that as steemit grows the people bringing up this point will grow. I think it is good that people can share what they think about something without being penalized for it so I hope people continue to voice their opinion on how they feel and not just suck up to the platform the way it is. But people are trained to be that way so what we see here is a perfect microcosm of our society the way it is today. Anyways i hope to see a fix to this problem and a continued positive growth of steemit where all people have nothing but good things to say about steem and how they listened and fixed the problems.
