We've decided to disable withdrawals to 3rd accounts by default, due to some users sharing / leaking their private keys and other users withdrawing their smartsteem funds.
We use steemconnect to verify the identitiy of steem-accounts and steemconnect requires either the private memo-key, private posting-key or password.
Now, we will allow withdrawals to other accounts only to manually verified accounts - which means:
If you want to withdraw to 3rd accounts, your smartsteem account has to be enabled for that.

What about those people who lost their money? I don't know this person @kiblerelf9611, Why will I withdraw my money to this account? I never shared my password with anyone. Not only from my account this person has withdrawn money from many smartsteem accounts. Check his wallet.
We are not sure what happened, but as written in our Terms of Service - Smartsteem provides no insurance and assumes no liability for STEEM or SBD held on smartsteem.com
You don't have to share your password - memo-key / posting-key is sufficient. And those could have been very well compromised.
This is not good and from today I will not sell my vote to smartsteem.
Your decision - but it's your responsibility to care for your keys.
i have doubt that @kiblerelf9611 is smart steem's account. Because if you check the wallet of that person then you can see that there are no out going transaction and it's balance is zero. i am also leaving smart steem.

wow this is really unfortunate. Hope you were able to take control of the situation and also verify that your system itself is not compromised.
I'm just starting out here so I'll be sticking around for a bit. But this is a good move to prevent similar acts in the future.
Is this why there's been no SP delegation payouts for a few days?
Payout is every day, but there is a threshold of at least 0.4 SBD / STEEM

Guys, what are you doing to prevent abuse of your bot? Check the trending page. Two posts in the last 2 days have been upvoted to trending, using your bot. Both articles are utter trash and do not belong on that page. Both are either selling some scammy product or contain shitty affiliate links.
You need to start removing your votes on posts like this.
