I have a question my friend. Due to Steem getting minted each year, we must experience a substantial growth each year just to keep the value of Steem the same.
So there's downwards pressure.
This will rise according to the numbers of adopters and whatnot, but what about when the growth slows down... will Steem's price decrease half per year as the numbers suggest?

The Steem inflation rate is currently a bit over 9% per year but slowly falling. Use of the Steem blockchain is growing by way more than 9% per year.
Basically, not a problem.
Also holding STEEM in SP, those holders are offset through additional SP.
As @preparedombat, the inflation rate is a little over 9% and falling .25% roughly each year.
Plus SP gets compensated with additional tokens to offset it.

How does SP get compensated with additional Tokens? Your SP goes up alone?
Yes there is a certain percentage that is held aside for SP holders.
I believe 75% of the new currency is reward pool; 15% is SP holders; 10% witnesses.
My numbers might be off but that it is the general idea.

Hehe, yes, I did a month recap post and even mentioned you, in that post I set my goals on getting to 1000 followers and 61 Rep in month 2.
