Bitwala having issues issuing cards

in #steem7 years ago

I got my debit card from @teambitwala earlier this year. I haven't used it much since Steemfest as I'm powering up my earnings and it's getting expensive to move Bitcoin around. Maybe they will take Steem directly some day, and start posting again on Steemit. They tweeted that they have some issues with new cards. I hope that is resolved soon. I don't think you can get a card from them if you are in the USA due to financial regulation.

I want to be able to use my Steemit earnings for various purchases and this was convenient, even with the charges. Since then someone has offered to buy Steem from me for cash to my PayPal. I make take up his offer soon. I know I may miss out on future earnings, but I'll be keeping most of my Steem for now.

Is anyone spending their cryptocurrency or is it 'hold unless I'm forced to sell'? We really don't know what the next year could bring, but I hope the market starts to sort the crypto wheat from the chaff.

Steem on and merry Winterval.

Sort:

I'm currently buying bits and pieces, diversifying.

I'm looking at Steemit as my mine for getting crypto to trade, and then swapping it for other currencies to see how it all works.

So far the strategy is going well.

I'm also sitting ready to buy a huge wadge of STEEM and power it up if it looks like that's a good option.

But for now i'm happy just playing in the market ans seeing what happens.

I'd love to solve the last piece of the puzzle and get some crypto into my bank account.

Then I'd have an end-to-end solution. ;-)

For me, at least for some time, everything I have in crypto, stays in crypto. It takes a lot of stress out if I don't have to see it as real money - ups and downs in prices don't affect me so much.

Ive sold a good amount of steem this year to pay rent. I wish I didnt have to. The goal is a million in profits at least. I dont wanna save up for bills only

Being able to trade crypto with another human being is one of the best ways to do it imo

I'm thinking about researching a crypto debit card soon. It will probably be a nightmare because not only do I live in US, but also in NY state the home of the dreaded BitLicense. Should be fun dealing with all that.

I cashed out a little crypto this week for the holidays, I plan on hodling the rest. Seems everyone is really pumped for 2018, which kind of shows the psychology of the coming crypto market. I think after bitcoin finally decides to settle down a bit, we'll see another really sick rally for both alts and bitcoin. Regardless, I'm really looking forward to see what 2018 brings.

Happy holidays everyone & here's to a prosperous crypto new year!

I hope you can find a card where you are. It is very convenient. For some reason I can't vote up your comment. I'll try again

Hi dear @steevc, I hope you're doing good. I'm facing the same issue which you're facing there. But you have at-least paypal services. In Pakistan, we don't have any paypal. Not any other resources to withdraw steemit earnings. Right now I'm investing in altcoin (Verge, Ripple, Nxt, Lisk etc) and I want to hold it till the end of March, 2017. Anyways let's hope for the best that your issue resolve shortly through @teambitwala in near future. Stay Blessed!

What do you think of spectrocoin? This is not a good alternative ?

I don't know anything about it. What advantages does it have?

Since I have around 2 weeks on steemit I have everything in here. I have not even purchase another crypto with my steem.

Perhaps next year I will decide to go swim “deep in the sea” and see what I found, for now I am here close to the shore.

I'm tempted to buy some amounts of other coins with my steem to spread the risk.

Thank you for your information. It would be good to know them from the standpoint of not having different people. I do not have much idea about the problems, but I can do it to solve it. Merry Christmas! @steevc
