Putting it all on Steem

in #steem8 years ago

I've never owned a lot of cryptocurrency. Most of what I have came from playing with various faucets. I've decided that's not a good use of my time, so I'm taking those few dollars I made and putting it into Steem Power. I know it won't make a huge difference, but we have to start somewhere.

If you want to play with faucets then you can earn me a little by joining these:

Don't expect to get rich, but if you can get some referrals it could be a nice little extra income.

I get bored with faucets. I am buying Bitcoin with PayPal from E-Coin.io. I want to exchange some for Synereo AMP thru Poloniex. 🙂

Thanks for the list. I will post my favourites if you want to kill some additional time :)

My crypto portfolio at the moment is:

  • a tiny amount of BTC
  • 3 SBD
  • 223 BTS
  • 6000 XAUR - a jackpot
  • 4 AMP with a lot more to come in the near future

This is not sound advice. You should not lock up your value for 2 years. You should store your value in Bitcoin which is the gold standard of cryptocurrency. Take a long term view of things and you should agree with me. Short term moves usually lead to loss. Good luck.

Digix would like a word about that :P

It's only a few dollars, so I can't lose much. It's not like those who invested thousands in Steemit. I wouldn't have done anything else with that money as it was not enough to be worth converting to cash.

I am by no means qualified to give financial advice. Just stating what I am doing :)

Why don't you vote on your own post? I've noticed yours is not there in the list of voters. Is there a reason? :)@steevc - a quick question if I may?

I don't think it would make much difference. I think I saw some suggestion that it was not a good thing to do. I can't find a conclusive post about this. My votes are not worth much, but I'll save them for voting on stuff by other peple

We'll make a crypto trader out of you yet @steevc ! :)

Ha! I'm pretty risk-averse. I've put it 'all on red' now, so let's see what happens.

I also quite like TakeFreeBitcoin

ugh that may be the spammiest comment I've ever made anywhere :D
