RE: Posting for Steem

in #steem8 years ago

I was in Fido-net many years ago using my Amiga and a modem. Fun times. I was also on Tsu from the start. I made a few hundred $ on there. Gave away at least half to charity and by buying things from people. Took out $200. Not a high return for my time, but there was a cool community. Such a shame the company was badly managed and it crashed.

Steemit is different. It has some issues, but there's potential. I've only made a few dollars in a month, but it's improving. It took at lot longer to make that much on Tsu. I'm just pumping up my Steem Power for now. I don't have spare cash to invest, but I don't have a desperate need to take anything out yet. Maybe if I get a really successful post I'll take some to treat myself. I'm here for conversation and the cool technology.

Tsu never took off for me. There was no 'interaction' like were doing right now..

It was a case of finding the right people. When it shut down I lost touch with some of them. We would support each other and organise charity events. I'm starting to build some connections here. It would help to have profile images and other details just to keep track of who they are.
