Bitcoin transactions are astronomical, and due to that people are looking for alternatives now. If we can work as a community and get Steem listed on more exchanges, and get our Steem debit card which some people are working on, then we won't need to go through Bitcoin anymore at all. This is a no-brainer. All the fighting and ridiculousness spent energy needs to work on getting Steem into more gateways....
Ok is this amazing or what? Seriously, zero transaction fees and the abilty to do business with entire f*king world. We need a billboard for this fact. It's still the best part of Planet Steem by a long shot.

this whale wars that are going on are a bad rep for steemit and steem, we have to learn to appreciate each other opinions cause not all of us think the same way, this is getting out of hand, we need to calm down, the minnows are watching the whales fight and it not good at all. for the sake of steemit

I don't know this history with whales. What happened during the conflict. But I know one thing: the creation of maps Steem - that would be truly wonderful. Without all the long problems with bitcoin and transactions, queues, and the like. I would really like to have a map. It would be the ultimate victory STEEM in the game of cryptocurrencies. Well said. I wouldn't have been the person I am today without the support from teamsteem actually. Now, I realize how that might sound, but it's nothing but the truth.
He have given me tons of support and wonderful comments multiple times, and I am truly thankful for his generosity and his kindness. - He's a true giver and an inspiration.
So even though he haven't changed my entire life or something like that, he has given me motivation and encouragement when I've been low. And for that, I'll always be thankful.

@stellabelle, I know your incredible commitment to the platform has played a role in its success. I also know that you are probably as frustrated as everyone else with the flag war. I am trying to write this in the least "spammy" way possible, but I am trying to drum up support for a proposal I have just posted. The basic idea is this: you earn voting power by interacting. It's pretty simple and I think would solve some of the high-level whale downvoting, as well as the abuse of bot networks. I won't post a link, but if you look at my blog, you'll see the post. Thanks!

It's a bit crazy how much some people are making now. I'm doing pretty well myself. I do wonder if there will be a dump coming up, but enjoy it whilst it lasts. I think Steem will be worth more in a year anyway.
You would think people would flock to a coin that is just so useful. I was looking to cash out some SBD to Bitcoin to put on my debit card, but the fees are horrendous. I'll build up some more to make it worth it.
There's a team working on a Steem debit card, so then we won't have to use Bitcoin Cash at all....thats the ultimate solution.
Actually I think I can fund my card with Bitcoin Cash. That may be a better way to do it. I'll look into it. A Steem card would be the ideal, but it's not simple to offer any financial service and there are all sorts of local regulations. I'll look out for it.
Hey, here's a secret: start using Bitcoin Cash..that's what I am doing, it's works way better. i know people hate Coinbase, but on Coinbase you can sell Bitcoin Cash.
Lovely gif, you are always a good writer. I know steemit will have its own debit card soon. Now that we have markets on steemit where people can give away stuff for SBD. Steemian will need to do more transactions very soon while shops will accept SBD or steem since their products will be displayed on steemit.
