Steemit Inc is selling out essentially.

We do not need them to run STEEM.

May have to change our chain name though..

I've got enough technical knowledge to keep this chain running without Steemit Inc.

We're likely going to look into forking out their holdings and setting some aside to continue development of the chain, support developers and then also distribute some of their stake to folks already holding current chain STEEM.

actually I am pretty sure (not gonna go look this up right now but I definitely recall this being the case) that the Steem name is NOT steemit, inc. property, hence the switch to using the stinc logo instead of the steem logo by stinc some time ago
