I will try and keep this short and simple so as not to make a long read.
Currently the language of the internet is made up of 51.2% English, and 6.7% Russian; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_used_on_the_Internet
Therefore we would expect about 10% as much activity on the GOLOS platform as we would on the STEAMIT platform, assuming they grow at the same rate.
Looking at the blockchain activity matrix; http://blocktivity.info/
Here we can see that STEAMIT has a transaction volume of 1,557,244 Tx, GOLOS has 132,408Tx. (roughly 10x less)
We can also see that STEAMIT has market cap 1.5Bn, golos only 0.05Bn. (roughly 30x less)
Although transaction volume (Tx) is 10x less, market cap is 30x less. Therefore I would expect an investment increase of 3x in GOLOS for it to match the same investment level as STEAMIT.
10x less russian speakers matches the current activity rate, but it does not match the current investment rate.
