RE: Shifting sands and investment decisions

in #steem5 years ago

and as you might expect by now, the vast majority of my vote is there for you - it's just I get a better return for visiting your shop with the author/curator percentages.

Some people don't even know about the tribes (how could you not) and many don't understand there is value in them. People stick to what they know and they know Steem.

I heard about communities and SMTs when I started here 2.5 years ago and, they still haven't arrived from Steemit, but they have arrived in some form. What I find strange is how many people have complained about the non-delivery of them yet haven't thought what they actually mean for the Steem community as a whole. Yes, there will be separation, yes there will be complication, yes, there will be ownership of community interfaces where the owners make the decisions. The Steem blockchain can be decentralized -but no business upon it need be.

Don't know, don't fancy the additional work, too stubborn, and/or a little scared of change.

The separation and complication is our view, being here near the start. Those on-boarded via a tribe wont have to deal with half as much, but the early adopter status won't be with them. Personally, I'm throwing tokens in all directions and seeing which go the furthest. I hope its not the PORN one tbh :)
