It does seem strange but it is what it is. Perhaps your intuition will be correct.
One thing that buying steem does is it enables one to power up, increasing Voting Power which increases the return for oneself and all others upvoted.
Ok... I just did it! After Steem went down to 20k sat, I purchased 500 Steem and converted them into SP. I can already feel the Power building up! ;)) Well, I still don´t know how everything works here, but it´s just 2 weeks and I didn´t spent a lot of time into researching how to play the steemit game right. Anyway, since my other investments are over a longer period anyway, I thought I may invest in Steem too - who knows, where this is going..... Thank you for inspiring me! :)))
I believe it is going to $100 a token...for what my view is worth.
Well, at 30$ it would already be Top 10 - which is an ambitious goal... Let´s enjoy the ride until then :)
