It works just like Bitcoin....the blockchain is forked and there are two separate entities from that point forward. Anything that is developed and goes on STEEM is on there...if it goes on the other blockchain, it is there. Even though they have the same basic code..they are located on different "forks". Of course, it makes it easy to switch over or copy onto the other is so desired.

Ok thanks. So what happens if your steem is in steem power. Do you get a split of that or only Steem you hold?
