Many of us have said that market price is not reflective of what is taking place on Steem. This blockchain is one of the better ones out there. Yet, many still contest it.
Steemit Inc put out a post yesterday announcing how another third party agrees with this idea.
Flipsidecrypto.com did their updates and Steem came in number 12. The blockchain received an "A" according to that firm. That stands for Attractive which puts it in the second tier of all those ranked.
What is all this based upon? They use a three tiered analytics program that they designed. From their site, this is what it looks like.
Looking at the breakdown, this is how Steem performed in the 3 areas.
As you can see from this image, when viewing on the slider, how Steem is at the upper end of all the blockchains that are reviewed.
After the Steem post, I went to the website and signed up. I counted the number of blockchains that were ahead of Steem and it was 11. This placed Steem as teh 12th ranked blockchain according to these metrics.
Many of us always felt the development and community involvement are what separated Steem from most of the blockchains out there. We are seeing more activity starting to take place on the development end which could stimulate more users. This will only help enhance scores from analytics parties such as this.
Notice how Steem did rather poorly in the market maturity area. While this is only a small amount of the total, there was a serious dropoff to 577. According to their glossary, market maturity focuses on the trading strategies around the token. We know STEEM is not the best performer on the market, tending to be rather range bound.
What is interesting is that the aspect that this entity gives the least weight to is what individuals tend to value the most. Market performance is often not an indicator of what is really taking place.
Nevertheless, Steem scored well which is good to see. It is nice to get some outside validation once in a while.

Hmm imagine a future where Steem is #12 on CMC. I like that future 😎
I honestly believe that Steem would be there if we had better outbound marketing of the developments happening here. If people in crypto knew about Steem-Engine, splinterlands, Steempeak, Partiko, actifit.... they would flood to this blockchain and realize that something incredible is happening here.
I truly hope that tribes take the charge to market their tribe and work together to also market other tribes and the blockchain as a whole. I think we can drastically change the Steem image in the next 12 months and reach that #12 market cap slot. We just need to start today on the marketing front!
