The banks and the countries are afraid of losing their control = fiat, but it´s probably too late, too many people have already invested in the crithographic currencies, if they got banned now, the population would be very angry, what is probably going to happen is, just like the dotcom bubble, sooner or later will burst, and only a few coins will survive, the ones that survive will be the next "amazon", "google", "ebay", etc ...
