Yep Ive talked to nate he knows i'm working on it. We have had talks about me doing it before, only a select few new i was even working on it. Now more or less people know its coming so i decided to post this. But for sure ill keep you guys posted.

Oh he did it was working had a few bugs then he got hired by steemit as a intern.
So it got taken down then? Do you know why?
@thedegensloth is correct, I was still in school and it had bugs and by the time I was reaching completion I got hired, so I had even less time to iron the bugs out. I'm so happy degensloth is doing this! It looks amazing. Thank you degen.
Uh it was buggy and he got hired by steemit so that took up a fair bit of his time also he was still in school i believe.

do you have an idea of how you would deal with the community feature? Would your twitter like platform basically work within a single community?
I currently have to look into this, we had no plans to deal with communities but im sure we can work something unique with it. If and when it ever seems to be released.
if you limit everything to 140 characters, then a community in which all those shortpost appears may be interesting. :-)
We might try out a few char maxes for the app its self.

Shame that there doesn't seem to be that much of support yet for this project, but I'm sure with time it'll come. You have my 100% support even if it doesn't count to much. People should be way more supportive of devs around here, it's one of the main reasons Ethereum is doing so well.
I'm sure many would be interested to hear about your thoughts while building this project. What were the problems etc. as we need someone to build reddit and tumblr as well!
Well this is kinda supposed to be the reddit of the steem block chain but ehh.
We plan to make a write up so hopefully that will help with funding issues.

Steemit is like reddit.
I've seen many people complain about the UI on here, steemit. That's why I mentioned Reddit. Could be a reasonable project to just build straight copy of Reddit but using Steem technology. Users would feel right at home.

How does it identify microblog posts on the back end?
By key word it also detects chars in post so if it go past the max chars well it will not show it.
Still currently playign with that
