I agree, but in the end, it is less of the users and more of the system. When everyone but Jack gets 8 cents to the dollar for curation and delegating to a bid bot gets you 40-60 cents, and self-voting 75-100, it's hard to be surprised when 99.8% of the community doesn't want to curate. The gap is just too wide and it's amplified by the fact most users feel under-appreciated yet many are over-appreciated and it's right up there in your face when they are. Finally, the amount of spam that litters the platform and in many cases gets rewarded just makes things worse.

I started on steem a few months ago.. Had A little break. And now back at it. Back then there were already a lot of bots active… but it seems that it gets worse these days.. I just dont understand.. well.. I am here to connect with REAL people… so yeah… let´s stay connected! xxx Laura
