RE: Community Brainstorming: What is Steem's biggest strength?

There is a ton of potential (marketplaces, dApps) but I will touch on the here and now.
As a merchant, if I have a product (which I do) I can buy Steem, upvote people that buy my product thus giving a sort of cash rebate all while simultaneously promoting the product.
As a content creator, I can earn money without the need to be approved by anyone. Micropayments even. The idea of a social media site combined with its own currency just made sense to me.
Community. A blockchain is nothing without anyone using it, and the fact after all the fud, a year + soul ripping bear market here we all are still talking about how badass Steem is and ways to improve it. = Super Bullish
Delete my account; I dare you. - The ability to say whatever you want without your account being banned is something we have yet to see entirely taken advantage. We will start to see more darklords that have zero choices but to use the Steem blockchain.

Really I could write an entire post about why and I probably should. Lastly people like you, @aggroed @yabapmatt @themarkymark and countless others - The blockchain of go-getters.
