You should get your WIF key from here: https://steemit.com/@novacadian/permissions click on Show key. I followed these two guides, see if they help.

If you have trouble with your config file then put it on pastebin and post the link here in the comments and I'll try help. (Just remember to take out any sensitive data before posting your config). I hope that helps.
