One thing you didn't mention was what I covered in my blog post on here about content being "false flagged". It seems despite things being on the block chain the front end can be censored by people with more power. If a whale decides to flag a piece of content it disappears, so anyone with wealth could make content they disagree with vanish from the front end. Without having a "down vote" button people are using the flag like a down vote button censoring content they disagree with. Not just spam, if just spam was being flagged that would be fine, but people are flagging differences of opinion and getting all the media in the post censored and removed from the front end. What is needed is a down button, so people can still down vote content they disagree with but without censoring the media associated with it. The flag should only be used for spam or abusive content.
