Hi Everyone
Last night my fellow Aussie Steemit friend messaged me to let me know she is going to pass the Steem torch to me. Nearly midnight in Sydney I was thinking who can I pass it to. Without taking too long to think, I quickly messaged @livinguktaiwan.
I told her I’m flying out tomorrow and wasn’t sure what the Internet situation will be at our new destination and expect something from me shortly. Just as she said ok, I have already send the funds to her. I feel like there was a huge responsibility with community money so had to move it fast!
I have seen the torch go around but didn’t think it will end to up me so early on - I’m the 74th person! I am so glad to be part of this adventure of the torch and I hope it can continue on for a long time.
By the way, not sure how much people usually add onto the total but when I got it, it was over 500 Steem!! Now you can see why I decided to find someone quickly and pass it on!
Watch out if you are the next person who will be receiving the torch. I am literally writing this on the plane to our next destination. Hope you all enjoy your Easter break.
