If Steemit is going to be great again it needs real leadership at the top giving the market confidence to invest. Right now that doesn't seem to be the case and sadly I don’t see it changing anytime soon.

Ironic isn't it TP. Libertarians and populists keep saying the world need decentralisation. Then in the next breath they ask for strong leadership and management at the top - perhaps humans need to be dominated and enslaved to feel safe. I hope I am wrong because at this stage Steem is about as decentralised as the crypto space gets.

It would take generations for humans to feel comfortable without masters, I don’t know if it’s safety we crave or an inherent fear of taking charge of our own destiny that drives the need to be dominated.
Whatever it is I hope the collective shackles are broken before TPTB work out how to enslave us forever.
