Yes. Steemits Growth is exponential. Especially being that there is no catch to earn money! You earn for every single action you make on Steemit because every action you make is on the blockchain.

The only problem is that most voters don't have any weight, this could be an issue as some people may start to leave after seeing all the low-weight votes not bringing in anything. It's discouraging seeing 10-15 votes and seeing zeroes in your acc balance.
I think over time as everyone's Steem power grows there will be a lot more weight in voting. It's still beta. So wait until there are millions of voters. :)
Its the reality of this beast and the only way to avoid the buying of upvotes like it happens on reddit. The content reward slowly provide more power to new users. If someone wants power they need to either provide value or buy it.
