I honestly feel steemit is missing out big time by only supporting pro steem content, it's limiting the growth of the platform. I also have quite a following over various social media platforms and I've tried bringing people over but they give up because they only get a few cents. I also find that if I post something that was real art or photography that took a great deal of time to do it gets barely anything then I post 'one year on steemit' post written in a few mins and it gets 10 times more or photos from a steemit meetup and it gets maybe 30 times more, I get it's great to promote the platform etc and people working to promote it but I feel If it's so much harder to get anything of worldly value getting upvotes other than 'yay steemit' or pics from meetups etc it is really limiting the growth of the platform.... my two cents of course but something I notice from being on here a year. I know I would make loads more if every post was drawings of the steem logo or yay steemit etc but I don't see what value that is adding to my own talent pool or to the platform after a few posts like that.
