The "I interviewed" series is a series where I meet with famous people from all over the world and I try to ask them questions about cryptocurrency, blockchain and matters that relate to that. The interviews do not always go as planned...
This is #6 of the series.

After interviewing the infamous Salt Bae I wanted to interview someone in the tech industry but all of a sudden Steven Seagal texted me and the only thing in text was a location, date and time. So I made sure I was there to meet him. I wondered why he contacted me in the first place, but man... I was eager to meet the math, the myth, the legend.
Steven shook my hand and he said this: "Listen my friend, I'm only doing this because you're starting to make a name for yourself in the crypto space and on Steemit and I want to help you. You may not know this but I'm actually the big boss of Steemit and I enjoy what you're doing. But I'm not going to say much because I cannot tell you anything. I cannot give you words. Everything I know is highly classified. But here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to give you my emotion chart and I'm going to let you ask me some questions. Then, by looking at my face and the chart you will know what emotion I'm displaying and that will tell you how I feel about what you you're asking." Steven handed me his emotion chart:
I looked at it and said: "Thanks... but Mr Seagal... it looks like all your emotions...". And he cut me of: "No time, start asking question, now."
"So Mr. Seagal, being the big boss of Steemit as you said, how do you feel about Steemit as a platform at this point in time?" He looked away and then looked back at me. It seemed to me as if he was displaying this emotion:
"Thank you Mr. Seagal. Let's say I were to invest in Steem, do you expect Steem to hit the $100 mark anytime this year? Steven looked away and looked back at me. It seems to me as if he was displaying this emotion:
"Hmm.. Do you perhaps think that Steem will hit the $50 mark this year? He looked away and back at me. Now it seemed he was displaying this emotion:
"Awesome! I will make sure I'll buy Steem as soon as I get home Mr. Seagal. Talking about Steem, I actually wrote a poem about Steem earlier today, perhaps you'll enjoy it." I showed him this post https://steemit.com/steem/@valderrama/i-wrote-this-poem-just-for-you on my iPad. He read it, he looked away, he looked back at me. He displayed the following emotion:
"I'm glad you enjoyed my poem Mr. Seagal. Let me ask you this, what do you think of all these ICO's in the cryptospace? It seems as if every day a new ICO get's announced and dozens of minnows post the same news." He looked away, looked back me and displayed this emotion:
"I can totally understand your annoyance Mr. Seagal. I got one more question for you: when you're a man in your position, when you have everything you could possibly ask for, when you have such a rich career like you have... how do you feel being at the top?" Steven looked away, looked back at me and displayed the following emotion:
It was at this point that Steven stood up, gave me a hand and walked away. I felt extremely grateful to have the man in person, but I also felt a little bit disappointed because he didn't actually talk to me. Perhaps I should have taken a little bit of a warning from his movies but damn... I interviewed Steven Seagal!
Feel free to upvote, comment and resteem. And, as always... keep up the good work!
I think that last emotion may have been beloved. I can almost see a tear in his eye.
Hhmmm... you could be right mate. It was very difficult working with that chart...
@valderrama
Nice Job!
Keep the good work up!
Thanks for sharing
Thank you mate!
Thanks @supermeatboy :) for dropping by.
Did you catch my post about the poem I wrote? Perhaps you'll get a good laugh out of that one as well ;)
