Excellent publication. Great perspective you have on Steem and the direction it has taken. Now, I want to ask you a question, you say that Steem is not Steemit, and of course, you're right, but is not Steemit the only way to get Steem besides buying it?

As was pointed out, any application on the STEEM blockchain can earn one STEEM. Many can sign up using Steemit then sign into other applications to earn STEEM.
People can even pay to sign up if they want.
You can earn Steem on Dtube, Dlive, Utopian, Steepshot, and many other sites that use the Steem blockchain.
But perhaps these sites are not created from Steemit? that is, are not these platforms an extension of Steemit? Could those pages exist without Steemit?
