Steem's Mass Adoption !!!!!
Yes, It is the biggest question mark (?) On steem's growth as well as on its mass adoption. Yet it is the best blockchain that we have right now, it has the ability to handle million or even billions of transactions without any problem. It's architecture is somewhat different from the traditional websites as it is based on IPFS for its storage.
Facebook has 2.13 Billion users, Youtube has 1.5 Billion users, Twitter has 1.3 Billion users, Reddit has 250 Million users but How many users steem blockchain have ?? Not even 1 Million users ...
Steem has Reddit version steemit, facebook version busy, youtube version drive, twitter version zappl, 9gag version dmania, and many more...
But what are the obstacles that is hindering steem's growth ???
- First of all, Steem's sign up process is the main reason which is stopping it in its growth.
- Second, Lot more bot accounts making it a platform of machine interaction.
- Third, Abusers that are abusing system for their own gain. Making it difficult for new users to sustain here.
Steem incl. Is launching SMT's with a hope that it will help in mass adoption but if it will continue in the same manner then it will be much more difficult for mass adoption. I think steem has to put a check on these activities otherwise it's very difficult to attain such position. Let's wait & watch what will happen ??
